For exam 007868, you must write a personal essay, based solely on your first-hand personal experience(s), told from the first-person point of view, meeting the length requirement of 750 to 2500 words. This essay should not require or contain any type of research; it should be told from thoughts and memories.
The choice of topic is entirely up to you, as long as you are writing about yourself and your experiences.
Please message me if you have additional questions or questions that are specific to your situation.
Have a great day! [:D]
I'm confused about what you need help with, the assignment is pretty self explanatory. Pick an event in your life and write about it.
I did the same essay and I wrote about my husband cardiac birth defect and how it affects our marriage and child-rearing today. Basically my POV of an event that I'm part of but still don't/won't fully understand. I did not use any research, just my thoughts and emotions about the subject/topic.
Am I to understand that your essay was returned to you? From what you're telling me, it seems to be an acceptable topic. The only thing I can think of is that you may have included a good deal of information about the defect itself... which would not be considered personal information. If you would like me to take a look at it, you can certainly send me a Private Message, copying and pasting the essay... or you can fax it to me at 570-961-4038.
I'd be happy to give you some feedback!
The essay has to be between 750 and 2500. https://community.pennfoster.edu/community/blogs/language-matters/blog/2013/11/04/the-writing-skills-writing-assignment-writing-it-out-and-wrapping-it-up can be a good resource for you to read about the process of writing the essay.
We will not supply you with a sample essay, as the inclination is to then copy the sample. What you need to do is to follow the steps of the writing process. Choose a topic, and work through the steps. The only two things you need to be sure of is that (1) you are writing about yourself and your experiences, and (2) you are meeting the word count for the assignment (750 to 2500 words).
If you have specific questions, please let me know.
I don't mean that you, specifically, would knowingly and directly copy the sample essay. What I was trying to say is that the human inclination is to mimic what we see as the "correct" way to do something. This particular assignment has a limitless number of approaches that can be deemed "correct," and we want to see what YOU can do!
II'm doing written communications. I have aced all the exams except writing skills part 3. IM SO LOST IM ABOUT TO GIVE UP. Also for practical English the writing process 1&2 keeps getting RTN but now it says RCD. I got an email saying the following:
Thank you for your email.
I need more details to assist you. Please provide exam numbers and let me know which exam was submitted in error.
Thank you! :-)
Alanna M. Bright
help please I just want this graded so I can move on.
You got that email from me because you stated that you had submitted one exam in error... but three exams were submitted. I don't want to remove all three from the grading queues.
For The Writing Skills Writing Assignment, the essay that you write must be about you. As long as you are telling a story based on your experiences and you meet the length requirement, it should be graded with no problem. As for the Practical English exams, you want to be sure that you are submitting in either .doc or .rtf format, or the exams will be returned to you; these are the file types we are able to open.
if you still need help on these assignments, please message me. I'm happy to help.
