Does anyone have any documents on Radiography they would like to email me to help me with this course? Also how does everyone memorize the placement of animals for different view of radiographs there are so many....(Besides the webnairs). Thanks!
I don't have anything I can send you, but Doc Jim has mention a particular book: Clinical Textbook for Veterinary Technicians Eighth Edition Joanna M Bassett/John A. Thomas
He says it has wonderful pictures and would be helpful in many areas of our study.
I just received my materials for Radiology and they include the book "Radiography in Veterinary Technology" by Lisa M. Lavin.
Placement and positioning of the animals for radiographs is a combination of knowing the principles of anatomy and radiology.
I have found that a little bit of luck comes in handy, too!
Hi Lisa Helms
Maybe this help you, Good Luck With Your Studies
I don't have any materials to send to you, but I have been a Rad Tech for 35 yrs. Any help I can give you I'd be glad to help. I'm in the process of taking Medical billing and coding at the present time.
OOooh wow, I really need help with the contrast/density/milliamperage and all the positioning of animal!
ok....I can more than likely help you out on the contrast and MA, but vet positioning might be a bit weird for me, but let's give em a go.....fire off some questions for me....
I Don't get to use the Internet much unfournatley so I was wondering if there notes you could write me up or something.....u don't have to jw thanks!
Exactly what views are you having trouble with?
I can help you with the animal positioning all day long. I would honestly probably confuse you more with explaining kvp/mas, and I didn't understand it at all until I did my practicum.
Rachel that would be great do you have any notes or anything you could email me? Do not have internet acess at home so im stuck studying by myself Thanks
